Feeding equipment to buy:
- Breastfeeding pillows
These pillows help you hold your baby comfortably while you feed him. Visit this site for baby blanket.
- Bibs (4)
The bibs prevent the saliva and milk that regurgitate the baby from soiling their clothes.
- Cloth wipes or cloths (6 to 12)
They are very useful to clean the milk that regurgitates the baby or any other liquid that spills.
- Cream for the nipples
Breastfeeding the little one can dry the delicate skin of your nipples. For this there are special creams that mitigate dryness, heal cracked skin and relieve the pain of your nipples.
- Extractor of milk
If you breastfeed your baby exclusively, extracting the milk will allow another person (perhaps your partner or mother) to feed your baby. See our guide with the best milk extractors.
If you cannot breastfeed your baby or do not plan to do so, you can choose from numerous baby formula options. Check our guide on how to find the most appropriate formula milk for your baby. It is also important that you talk to your doctor.
- Bottles and teats (or bottles) for a bottle
Even if you decide to exclusively breastfeed your baby, make sure you have some bottles and teats for newborns at home, if you plan to use a breast pump. If you will only feed it with formula, you will use approximately ten 4-ounce (118 ml) bottles a day.
Equipment for sleeping:
At first you do not need a crib because your newborn can sleep in a bassinet. But, unless you plan for your baby to share your bed, later you will need a crib.
